Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree to these terms. You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of information you provide, and activity performed through your account. Do not share access credentials or use the service unlawfully.

You keep ownership of messages, photos, polls, scores, and other content you submit. You grant The Lynks a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the service.

You may not post illegal, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content; impersonate another person; scrape the service; interfere with security; or use the service to harass others. Group organizers are responsible for managing their groups.

Course, handicap, score, game, and settlement features are organizational tools. Verify official handicaps, course rules, scores, and amounts with your group. The Lynks is not a governing golf body and does not guarantee that calculated results are suitable for official competition.

The Lynks may record informal bets, expenses, and balances, but it does not hold, transfer, or process funds and is not a gambling operator. You are solely responsible for complying with local law and settling any amounts outside the service.

Golf and travel involve inherent risks. Use appropriate judgment, follow course rules, and do not interact with the app while driving.

The service may depend on third-party authentication, maps, course data, GIFs, notifications, storage, and payment apps. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, security threats, abuse, or legal requirements. Shared group history may remain in anonymized form after deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

To the extent permitted by law, The Lynks is provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Lynks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, personal injury, disputes between users, or reliance on scores, course data, or settlement records.

We may update these terms and will post the revised date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent to support@thelynks.app.
